Look at the screen shots below for an example of what & where you can find the features needed so that you can get your 3D Cube going.

After completing all of the instructed instructions; Use the following keys to test your 3D Cube to see if it is working.

Hold Ctrl + Alt + you right or left Arrow button the turn the cube/3D Desktop!!

or

Press and hold Ctrl + Alt and squeeze and hold you left mouse button and turn the cube.

or

Press and hold Ctrl + Alt and press the down arrow button your keyboard then you the left & right arrow buttons to switch through the different work places!!

Hope this helps ;)

It only changes the cursor when compiz is off, can I change the cursor with compiz on, or do I have to keep the one it comes with, if so, it's not a big deal.

Hello guy, I'm new to Ultimate Edition. Just install Ultimate Edition 2.4 like last week, but now seeing 2.5 is out, thinking about installing it over Ultimate Edition 2.4. I have a few questions. Is is possible just by upgrading from Ultimate Edition 2.4 to 2.5 without reinstalling the whole OS? Also, when I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, when upgrade, there is no message that says something of sort " updating from untrusted source may lead to your system be compromised," but today I use aptitude safe-upgrade from Ultimate Edition 2.4, I saw that similar message in my terminal. Although the wordings maybe different, but it's the same meaning. And so I check out the source's web address which leads to http://downloadue.info karmic/, is this a trusted mirror?

Anyway, I'm downloading Ultimate Edition 2.5 from sourceforge while we speak.

Thanks for the effort from Ultimate Edition's developers, because it's one really nice Linux, although it's based on Ubuntu 9.10, it's so nice that you thought Ubuntu 9.10 should have done the same thing. Then again, I'm glad there is Ubuntu 9.10, because it's slimmer for people who like to slim down their Linux. Of course, there are even more slimmer Linux flavors out there that will make Ubuntu 9.10 looks funny. I think Ultimate Edition is great for people like me who like pretty thing! It's a piece of art!

You can change it with or without Compiz on. All you need to do when you change the pointer is restart your machine!!
