I am guessing that if it is made available for us (forum members) first before the general public is allowed its chance to crash Hostgator (just kidding(?) ), that the announcement that contains the download instructions/links will be posted in the Hidden post only viewable by registered users forum - after all, the description for it is "New versions of Ultimate Edition will be posted here first for download. One of the benefits of being a registered user."

Is there a reason (besides the pain of archiving the ISOs into 100-mB chunks ) that these things don't get posted to a file host such as Rapidshare? I would hate to have to use such a service to download an entire DVD - but I would.

EDIT: I guessed wrong, but it's all good. Booting the Ultimate Edition 2.4 dvd now.
