I just started using google gadgets and I like it so far. I want it to start up every time I start ubuntu so I do the normal thing.

Search for the option in the program (NONE)

Add it to startup applications (minor problem)

Where would I find this program so I can add it to the startup app list.

I believe you can do this a couple of ways. Go to System> preferences> Startup applications, Click the "Add " button, Place the name of the App you want to start at boot (Google Gadget's) in "Name" Then Click The "Browse" botton, Navigate Filesystem>usr>share>Applications, find the App. you want to start, and "Double click" and close out the small window, There is also an "Options tab" with a check box to automatically remember running applications. :) ;)

The remember running programs doesn't work for this program for some reason. If it's in the application folder I guess I'll find it thought I did but no good so far.

Nope I even added it to desktop and moved it somewhere I could get to it, bu it still won't open :(

OK, Google Gadgets launcher is in Applications> Internet>Google Gadgets, Right click " Add to panel " Then Right click the icon "Lock to panel" now at startup just click that icon and Google Gadgets will start, And place a control icon in your panel ! :D
