Postby dnt99611 » Mon Nov 09, 2009 3:53 pm

I am trying to move my kids off of windows :D To be able to do that I need them to be able to play their games. So far all the single disk games have loaded and worked just fine. But when I try to load multi disk games no luck. The first disk loads but when I am asked to put the next disk in I am not able to do so. The computer will not let me unmount the disk and eject it. Any help with this would be wonderful.

Getting the disk out is not the main problem. The problem is being able to finish loading up the rest of the game. I know if I can not get the kids games to work I have no chance of weaning them off winblows.

It might be helpful if you list the game title also.

Sorry,
The game I was mostly speaking about is Sims. Both the wife and daughter like to play it. The one I was trying to load is a four disk set and all must be loaded for the game to play. I have been able to get any of the one disk games to load and play but I have not been able to get any multi-disk game to load. I tried severial other games but am not sure of the names.flight-sim and a few more??
I looked at the two sites you guys have told me about but I am sure they are way over the head of this self taught Noob.
Either way I will keep trying as I really want to get away from WindBlows if I can.
