Incredibly slow burning? (Solved)

hi guys i like to burn movies etc but i have very very slow burning speeds any help

edit found out my dvd writer was faulty it started coming out when it pleased (like in the middle of booting Ultimate Edition 2.3 dvd) sooo i gave it a wack and now im returning it under warranty

DO NOT POST THAT KIND OF PICTURE ON THE FORUM!!!

sorry guys my bad it was my wallpaper next time ill change it <BREW>
