That is not correct!
Code: Select all
Mask:255.0.0.0

you have to change the address to:
Code: Select all
Mask:255.255.255.0

and if you can log in to your modem/router,
Admin=user
Admin=pass

change your connection to DHCP.

Iḿ a simple person, so I always check for the simple solutions first. Sorry if I offend with the simplicity but have you right clicked on the network notification icon and chosen wired network as opposed to wireless? Does your wired connection appear at all when you right click the icon? Is networking enabled when you right click?

Cheers.

you need to log in to your modem/router from the search bar insert
Code: Select all
127.0.0.1

then you will be ask for user name+password.
after the Admin-user,Admin-password.
the application of the modem/router will open up for configure.
There you can Edit-
Code: Select all
Mask:255.255.255.0
and DHCP.

everton,

you have right click and left click on the network connection icon.
So if you have DHCP that is good start.
look on the search bar were you see the Address of the page ,
there just insert the Address of 127.0.0.1 end enter.
