i use windows vista home basic and I have recently installed ubuntu 9.04..I like to download stuffs so how can I do that
in ubuntu, like in windows I used IDM is there any equivalent for it or even better....
if there is tell me the detailed procedure for using it.....

You can also install and use any download manager of Windows through Wine. have a look at this...

Also try DownThemAll in Firefox. Its great piece of app. Flashgot is your choice if u want to integrate some download manager in Firefox.
