Wiican crashes every time I try to start searching for a wii controller. It freezes :? . So I'm at a stand still. I can find the Wiimotes with the bluetooth search, but I can't add it without a passcode and there's no "don't use passcode for device"

IGHT I found a solution and I currently working on it and I know it'll work out I just gotta figure out a way to get it to work with Dragon player. :geek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4pxwD-mvm4 there's 3 parts this shows part 2 where he connects his wiimote with Elisa mmplayer. Now if only I could figure out how to connect it then map it the way I need it for VLC or Dragon Player.

Discovered something interesting. On KDE I can connect the wiimote without any passcode. Gnome however I can't do that. WiiCan... Can't work for me I guess. I gotta try something else.

LOL I do a google search and find this old post.

Well, I'm back to Wiican after all these years. Looks more promising now. Hopefully, it works out this time. I hope I can use A+B along with the single button options and single buttons pressing multiple buttons or I'll be force to change my VLC shortcuts.

Works great, very easy to connect the wiimote now. All the buttons for my map worked.

Only one single problem. I can't use combine keys. If I could use (I have 'A' set as 'Space' and 'B' set as 'Shift') A+B as S then it would be perfect. I like it that way so I don't make a screenshot by mistake. If I do wiimote.A+B or A&B or AB it says there's an error. I guess there's no way at the moment. Maybe I can somehow map A+B in the OS itself or something. So every time a wiimote is connect A+B will equal S.

Great progress. <BREW> You may find the following helpful if you haven't browsed this already:
