O.k here is my suggestion for you.
go to synaptic=>search compiz=>un install all packages.
then restart your machine.
then use the post that I have post for you,That post solve to every one the problems with compiz.
so do not go around here just do it right.

Hi , I you still don't have your animation add ons try this :

This is a how to I wrote for installing other plugins in compiz, goto the download page as instructed in the how to and find animation add ons and follow the instructions per the how to : It is pretty easy to follow,Let me know If this helps, as if it does I will update my post to help others with this problem!

Recently Reset Linux (had to reboot it) Of course add ons is back. If it disappears ever I'll make a not of what I did last.
Before I don't worry about this for a bit. How do I add advance effects in kde and xfce?

in KDE it uses its own window manager which in my opinion not as good as compiz you have to go into the system setting then animations i think been a long time since i used it
