Great job on 2.2, not much for gnome but it does look good. Thanks.

It is a possibility that E17 desktop shell could be released in one of Ultimate Edition future releases. Who would of thought that we would have a triple environment of GNOME, KDE & XFCE integrated in 2.3 :?: Ultimate Edition is about giving our users what they want, so who knows.

I suggest a dabble with upcoming Ultamatix -7 It has all that is added in Ultimate Edition 2.3 & then some. I have taken Jaunty installed ultamatix & went from there. I will come back and drop a screenshot or 2 ;)

That is squashed as well as GPG key errors the #1 complaint, current changelog:
ultamatix-1.8.0 (7-1) unstable; urgency=low

* Added initial Karmic support (Python 2.6 dependancies) - Not stable please try at your own risk
* Created a Ultamatix repository to host gigs of packages many newer then Ubuntu's repository
* Updated / added many games, too many to list
* Added Ultimate Edition 2.2 theme pack
* Added Ultimate Edition 2.3 theme pack - beta this is for testing purposes it will set gdm etc.
* Changed 0.0.6 theme pack - Ultimate Edition .0.0.7 theme pack (lintian 0 errors)
* Added GPG key signing of repositories
* Added Amarok 1.4 Fast Forward PPA and Amarok 2 Nightly build they can run side by side
* Code cleanup
* Removed inet connection check
* Lintian Ultamatix (0 errors)

Have a little Gander of the upcoming ultamatix. I want you to understand I started with a raw copy of ubuntu Jaunty tossed in Ultamatix and let it go to town. You can see the current results... It is not done. Pay close attention that is the "uninstall" tab I show you. 143 Programs / Games currently. The repo I have set up is "cutting edge" I uploaded wesnoth to it yesterday that was built the day before ;) I released it to my admin for testing not an hour ago.

Hello jnalli.

I can tell you from where I am sitting, that I can see the Ultamatix Sun rising from a far. Don't worry my brother great things are in the making & good news to come. Don't worry about that error message that your getting now. I can tell you that you won't be seeing that for long!! Just be patient a little more. It won't be long now!!

Sorry to say that, Ultimate Edition as a limited prescribe pool of beta testers. We don't like to release a unstable release, we always try to get most of the major bugs/glitches sorted out before we make the general public join in on the party. Thanks for the offer, but we can't accept. Have a great day in the Ultimate Edition Land!!
