Ultimate Gamers Edition Post-Install Question?

Crap, I should really know the answer to this question, but sadly, I don't... After installing Ultimate Gamer Ed. I want to add new software via Ultimatix; is the software in Ultimatix already installed by default? I already see most of the programs in my applications menu but when I run Ultimatix I don't see any "icon" or "notice" showing that the programs are already installed? Is this because they are updates\upgrades? or is it because there is no feature telling me what is installed and what isn't? Do I just have to keep tabs and manually manage my software? I have no problem doing that, but I just wanted to know if there was an automated way of managing my changelog. Thanks for any help and I am sorry if this sounds confusing, but I have never really been good with words...

Hello viralnexxus and welcome to the U.E Forum.

My Question to you is way you want to add software with Ultimatix?
To add software you have to to that with playonlinux.
you can go to the Gamers Forum to see some screen shots that will
solved the issue for your Question.
you can add Games with Ultimatix, but to install CD/DVD try to do it with playonlinux.

Thank you
Amir.

viralnexxus,

You should be fine.In the past ultimatix didn't always jive with the other software installers. But the last time I used/tested it it seemed to work with them(I think Thee had fixed it).If you install something via ultimatix it will show up in synaptics.

I agree, but the reverse does not hold true.
Not everything in Ultamatix is installed by default.
What you do have installed does not show up in Ultamatix unless you installed it via Ultamatix.
I suppose a good description would be that Ultamatix has its own changelog only.

Cheers.

It looks like the team that makes the software is the team behind ReactOS .

Any PC with Windows XP/Vista/Seven will be able to run Wintomatix without any problem!
