I have downloaded the Ultimate Edition 2.2 64-bit .iso and burned it to a DVD but it does not appear to be functioning properly.
I have attached a screenshot of what I get when I boot the DVD.
Can someone please assist me with resolving this?

DarkChild wrote:Re your problem. Did you do a md5 sum on the downloaded iso file to see if it was a good download? If not i will suggest doing that before we go any further!!
DarkChild wrote:Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to download & use Ultimate Edition 2.2 when there are earlier editions out like Ultimate Edition 2.3/2.4!!
I am not saying Ultimate Edition 2.2 is wrong from you, i just want to know why you choose 2.2!!

kayakjim wrote:Naturally the md5 does not match. I downloaded the file from the main site, the University of Maryland, and Unixheads all with the same results. What are the odds of that? Could it be that the source file has been corrupted?

Not impossible but i don't want to think thats the case. It could possibly be a faulty network cable. Tell you what, since its a case where as you need a Jaunty base os, just download a copy of Ultimate Edition 2.3 as it is jaunty base also just as Ultimate Edition 2.2!! If that doesn't work out, i'll ask TheeMahn to do a md5 sum on the iso's on the server!!
Good luck!!
Return to Ultimate Edition 2.2
