Need help here,,
My XF86 Audio Raise Volumex and Lower Volume won't work, even other buttons (such as brightness or sleep) is working correctly.
Any idea? actually, I'm a newbie 'bout this stuff
Thx!
Make sure you have Volume [Mute/Up/Down] in Keyboard Shortcuts mapped to the matching XFAudio command key. Then Open up System -> Preferences -> Sound. Whatever you have selected for Sound Events-Sound Playback at the top you must select the same thing below under Default Mixer Tracks - Device (for me it's HDA Intel (Alsa mixer)). Then in the list box below that select the device you want to control (probably Master, but you can shift-select multiple)

but when I'm trying to test the HDA Intel ALC286 Analog (ALSA), this message appears :audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink: Could not open audio device for playback.
is something wrong w/ my system? or is it just normal?
