The Delay...

Postby TheeMahn on Mon Jun 01, 2009 11:46 pm

I felt it is appropriate to explain the reason you have not seen me for I would estimate 60 days (a pretty accurate estimation). I was sent to jail for 60 days for missing a child support payment in December last year. I had a court appointed attorney which told me I would not see jail. Hard to find a job when they take your license as punishment.

Court appointed, I guess no more needs to be said there. I would like to thank the admin for tending to the forum & finetuch personally for paying the hosting to at least keep the forum & download server afloat in my absense.

I have successfully built Ultimate Edition 2.2, so it should not be that long before you will be able to download it.

Sorry for being a "Hardened Criminal",

Hi TheeMan, you are not the only one to get taken to the cleaners by an EX. My son went to court and told the judge he paid the mortgage and utilities in lieu of child support, this was a deal he and his EX made a verbal agreement to. The judge told him he could care less and ordered him to pay $1500.00 by the end of the week and gave him 30 days to sell the house. I had to lend him the money and he took a loss to get the house sold. I should add he couldn't afford a lawyer and represented himself. The judge told him to sit down and shut up.

Thee Mahn,

Its great to know you are back. I respect and appreciate your explanation. Only wish we here could have chipped in and financially helped you out.
Great to have you back is basically what i want to say. Hands down your distro is "numero uno". Your mind has created something many want and rely on.
I too know what the other side of those bars feel like, not for that length of time tho. I know how freedom is once again cherished. I hope you do not have to deal with that place again.

Wow, a warm welcome... Thanks all. I expected a bit of the opposite. Dead beat dad is not what I am, but expected that style of welcome. If I ever nor would I ever elaborate on the situation, but my child does not reside even in his mothers home. I guess this is why I feel a bit sour on child support laws. Still to this day she enjoys child support payments & he does not even reside with her for at least the last 5 years. The "system" is wrong. Many would love to say "My Fault", something I would never do to your child let alone my own.

Changes are being made within the system at least in Ohio a new law is coming, I will say no more ;)

Do not take this wrong, but I have a woman and love her to death. I will never marry again and told her the day I met her, hmm wonder why?

I do not want to make this into a joke, but will now do so ;)

#1 Would you buy a pair of shoes w/o trying them on?

#2 Once you have the shoes. Why buy the cow when the milk is free?

I just made that joke up can you see it?

NTL, thanks brother for being there as well as all admin, I hope you enjoyed a chuckle at my expense.

BTW your "in lieu" our court they call that a "gift" in the US of A, I know believe me.

There is a "Fathers Rights group" over here, & they too are fighting a losing battle. :o
The "Child Support Agency" ( CSA) is a very hated gov't dept in OZ that rips off many hard working Guys.
& gives their $$$ to their EX ( from the Gross / before Tax income). & they then pay "income tax"
on the whole Gross Income, so in most cases they are living on about 30% of what they earn ( gross).
Family Court Judges have been shot at, kids "kidnapped" & the 'dad' then kills them & himself. :(

Well that's the problem when in America the women are still in minority, under 48-49% from the entire population, and your whole constitution is made in the woman's advantage mostly.
The "men" who rule the world are most of them old decrepite, impotent and gay(no offense, just my opinion). :x
