Wireless not detected

so is it ok to activate the two drivers? i also have knetwork manager running alongside the gnome network manager but nothing changes.

i have installed the wicd manager and finally get the network icon on the menu bar but the wireless is still not being detected.

Deactivate the standard Atheros driver and activate the new one in the hardware section.

Lol....ya in terminal.I don't think your going to get the wireless n working,but you will have 802.11g...if this works.


Yes with sudo.Sorry I take it for granted that everyone knows if you use apt....you must be sudo.
