No I'm not remote but New Zealand is,we pay for broadband around US$8.40 A GB off info. Down and up load are counted as one so it can get quite expensive ,our down load speeds are quite slow at around 256 kbs to 1mb a sec where as dial up at 56 kbs a sec at US$8.40 unlimited per month starts to make sense, their are only 4,000,000 people in NZ so the cost has to be met by a few. Thanks again.

Hey nzgunn

Where in Godzone are you?

I'm in Nelson....I have a deal with Orcon (no longer available) which is $49.95 per month for 10GB with $10.00 for 5gb over.

Average bill is about $60 per month...which includes tolls and mobile calls/texts.

Cheers
