Try reformatting it.Or stick it in a xp pc,and close it the proper way.(not just pulling it out)

I know this is probably a silly question...but...are you sure "ANY" USB device is recognized by the port you used?The only reason I ask is that I once had a wireless USB device that wasn't being recognized, and it turns out I had to set "legacy usb" in my BIOS, before it was recognized...just a question?????
