Each partition in windows has its own hidden recycle bin folder,so if you delete something in D it goes in the shared part for the recycle bin in the same partition/drive,the default is minimum 10% of the drive.
Personally I set it at 5% maximum to gain more free space on the drive,anyway I never store something in it,usually when I delete something I delete it permanently(shift+delete and then enter/return). <BREW>

Thats what my "Huh?" was for. :D I thought we were talking about linux,and he throws in "c drive".kinda threw me off...lol.

she's gone boyz, she gone. Photorec has the makings of a good program, fairly easy to get up and running. BUT it only gives you the option of the file ext that your looking for. so after running for 30 min and 1000 files later i stopped it. 1000 deb files labeled f123453.deb, etc. then the fun started. What harddrive 97% full. had to login terminal sudo nautilus. delete them and the run sudo su empty trash. to get my drive back.

It was the manual install of 2.2 theme I had deleted. still got the auto theme

Theres a few apps out there that can do it,but you probably have to pay for em.The one I used with xp wasn't a free ....well it was free but not...any ways... it picked up most of my folders,but all my files.I just found what I wanted then wiped it clean.I didn't want to spend hours try to piece it back together either. ;)

I think I know the one your talking about. It's excellent, I have the not free, Free version ;) As long as I found one version of U/E 2.2 theme I'll live. I was going to upgrade my laptop to ubuntu 9.04 and apply U/E 2.2 theme <BREW>
