You can most likely just install it from synaptics.

It requires working net connection for terminal's re-installation. But fact is this,i connect through gnome-terminal by commanding "wvdial" as i am using dial-up 3G EvDO modem.

He hasn't logged in over a month, hasn't made a post in almost 2 months, and ultimateedition.info is down.

I hope not but I understand if it is. His time invested and contributions made to the *nix community and to this sect which he grew himself are amazing. I hope he has taken a much deserved break and didn't get burnt out.

Yes he is fine, in the literal sense. He has a few personal issues which may take some time to resolve, however, this will certainly NOT be the end of him ! He & we,are too passionate to abandon you ! Enjoy your current version for now, have a break from the constant reformating & just wait patiently.

i too was wondering about Theeman. in my humble opinion he is the MANN
