What did you burn your dvd with?
Try burning another one taking care of the burn speed.....slower =better

Burn it as slow as you can.....Its not like a music burn were errors don't matter much.

Next question, did you verify the MD5 checksum? If not I would suggest downloading and installing WINMD5SUM (if you are using windows to burn your disc). This is a free download. Use this to make sure that your download is good.

For burning Ultimate Edition to a disc, I have had the best luck with IMGBURN (also freeware) burning at 4X or slower. You can find this one on just about any freeware site.

If your md5sum checks out, then try this:

1) when the liveDVD boots up to the menu, press f6

2) now you should be seeing this:
boot options.png
after pressing f6


3) add "vga=792" (without the quotes) at the end of the boot line (delete "quiet splash")

4) hit enter

When the dvd boots up, instead of the splash screen, you'll see the boot process; it's going to go pretty fast, but try to pick out any errors you might see, or, note what it says if it hangs up again...
