+1, I am thinking the same thing. I was saying to my self that at the time of connection for "Jrphorbin", TheeMahn might have been working on the repo, so hence he was able to connect and install xy & z.
Still getting internet disruption error my self here. TheeMahn is working hard to restore all web services & get everything sorted out as soon as possible, so its just a matter of time.

Or they could use "Ubuntu Tweak" to pick and choose some applications from the "application" feature which is integrated within the program, if there isn't a specific program that they are looking for!!

I have not been able to connect to ultimatix for sometime and just assumed the server was down. Same issue with work PC running Ubuntu 8.10. Will dig a little deeper.

Yes, I have already gotten the libdvdcss and the restricted extra's in through synaptic, but am really just waiting patiently for 2.2...So THIS install isn't going to get much more attention from me...and besides........I'M LAZY!!! I kind of like have quite a lot of what I want to install in the smaller package. Things are easier to find than in synaptic, IF you DON'T know EXACTLY what to type in the search box, you're screwed, and I have found PAGES and PAGES of app's to sort through with just one enty into the search box...Ultamatix is my preferred method for those reasons.....

,but I like to see whats new out there,and see if theres something that will work better.
