hey Stanca,

Running 64bit, followed your instructions. flash is put in .mozzilla/plugins. that didn't work so i put it in opt/seamonkey/plugins.

no go Nick. thanks anyways

none of the plugins are working now. Funny all works perfect with Ultimate Edition 2.1 on my 32bit box, but not on my Ultimate Edition 2.0 64bit laptop. I've also noticed when i uninstall seamonkey and reinstall it brings all the settings from the old uninstall. I used this command ubuntuzilla.py -a remove -p seamonkey.

Hopefully I not gone back to work when Ultimate Edition 2.2 comes out, I'll do a fresh install with it.

I just installed seamonkey from synaptic and flash works just fine. I didn't install anything else. I am using 2.1 64 bit. I would suggest you re format and re install and follow the instructions for flash support to the letter.

maybe I should uninstall everything and start over?

also, firefox 3.0.9 wont let me download anything, it claims the "disk" is full, I try other destinations with no luck, opera dloads to wherever I want no prob?

What I can tell you for sure is that each distro or Ultimate Edition version I've installed, I just wait til I get to a webpage that tells me i'm missing a plugin, then I install it when it asks (for Ultimate Edition it's the Ultimate Edition home page)...and I've always selected the Flash plugin (which in Synaptic is the 'flashplugin-nonfree' package)...you can try and delete what you've done up til now and try that...
