samba unmet dependencies (after a fresh installation)

hi guys,
last night I did a fresh installation of Ultimate Edition 2.1....

the second one apt command was:

sudo apt-get install samba samba-tools system-config-samba

and I've got this message:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
samba: Depends: samba-common (= 2:3.2.3-1ubuntu3.4) but 2:3.2.3-1ubuntu3.5 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

Any help to fix this?

...check your repo's in Software Sources and make sure they're right...then click "reload" or open terminal & sudo apt-get update ...then try again ... this usually works for me

thanks.. I did it before but I checked again editing the file /etc/apt/sources.list and also checked through synaptic...

Ok, I see you've got Jaunty in there also...2.1 is Intrepid (figure you already know this) & Jaunty is still in Beta, that could be your problem, on one of my test partitions, i'm running straight Jaunty and the latest Samba-common pkg I have in Synaptic is 2:3.2.3-1ubuntu3...you can go here and find the package/s you need to fix the prob...

probably you are right. the fact is that I do not change the defaults after the initial installation, the repos comes with the installation of 2.1
