Not familiar with TV tuners (will be in the near future I hope) but I did find this...don't know if it will help you, but it might give you some ideas...

I believe Pinnacle puts that tv stick out.If thats the case its probably not supported(some are but not all).I have a brand new Pinnacle digital/analog hd stick(was a gift)thats not supported also. Its the only reason I keep xp on my laptop. The mythtv site always up to date info on whats working and not.Ill See if i can dig anything up its been awhile since I checked on the tv stick I have.

edit:maybe I spoke too soon  Seems its on the above link. But i see mine isn't yet supported yet I have the 880e chip I think.

Thank you all, soon I just bought an usb tv tuner(kworld plus tv analog usb stick pvr-tv 305u)and I was looking for a linux driver and found this post.
Hawks-SOAD if you downloaded already the driver and it is in the tarball format(package) it's really so simple to install it.This is my way how I compile and install bz2 package drivers:
I extract the content to a desktop folder, open the folder and inside of it open in terminal. All you have to do after is to type in
Code: Select all
make

and in the end just
Code: Select all
sudo make install
.
Just don't forget to use sudo in the end because you need to be a superuser to install it.
Good luck and keep us in touch. <BREW>

Have a look at this: http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Document ... bttv/Cards
The newest kernel may have support for it.
