Forgive me for not making myself clear.
I currently have
Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10 installed on my PC.
The problem is that
Ultimatix 1.8.0 favors
Hardy Heron, 8.04, and populates Intrepid's
sources.list with the following:

#ULTAMATIX REPOS END
As you can see, these repositories conflict with Intrepid (8.10).
I noted the following. When starting
Ultimatix 1.8.0, underneath the logo it displays: "Checking Ubuntu Version" followed quickly by: "Found None". This copy of Ultimatix seems to be unaware of Intrepid's existence.
The version of Ultimatix bundled with
Ultimate 2.1 is based on Intrepid Ibex 8.10. Is it on the setup DVD somewhere as a .deb file, perhaps? I did search, but to no avail.
I stopped using Ultimate Edition 2.1 recently because it comes with a version of
guichan that is incompatible with software I would like to run. However, I would like to try Ultimatix that is tuned for Intrepid... and not Hardy.
So. There is my dilemma.
