Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.1

That's why more Admin and Mod staff need to test it out properly before hand. I had brought this issue to everyone's attention but as usual I was completely ignored so I have no sympathy for any of the Admin staff(not that I ever do)!! My attitude is that once you are a Mod or an Admin stop asking questions and figure it out for yourself!!! I figure things out myself, anyway. I always have and I always will!!
p.s. Why should it be any different than Windows. When you install that you have to fix things. I don't see the big deal. People over complicate things and complain instead of getting on with it!!!

Iḿ truly amazed by the work of TheeMann. But when you install a distro like Ultimate Edition 2.1 made by TheeMann. You dont expect to not have a functional package handler that getś you gpgkey error problems. Iḿ sorry but this is making me so frustrated. Someone wrote "just visit the package homepage". Ok then what? If the adress is wrong you cant get it right anyway. If you are new to this things. So somebody better step up and give us a way to fix this issue from a beginners perspective...

PLEASEEE :?:

This distro is not geared towards beginners. It is for people that want to learn and develop their Linux savvy.
Beginners can pay 200 bucks and stick with Windows. And good luck demanding anything from Thee. I know exactly what he would say to you if he was here right now. The biggest problem is that most people want everything done for them without doing any thinking or work. Maybe we can arrange someone to visit people's homes all over the world and walk them through every little thing.
What software are you looking for? I just add the medibuntu repository(edit the repos that don't work out of my repo file) and anything I can't find in Synaptic I look for on the web. I don't know why this is so confusing. I don't know of any operating system that is perfect. If you know one let us all know. And stop complaining and go get what you are looking for and stop trying to fix something that isn't all that important. You are all making a big deal out of nothing. If you are looking for packages, ask. It is as simple as that!!!
p.s. I was up and running in a little over an hour(15 minutes to install the system) downloaded and installed Virtual Box, VM Player, flash plugin, py karaoke, totem xine(removed totem gstreamer), libdvdcss2, ubuntu-restricted-extras, numlockx, did my updates and did the few other tweaks I do and I have a great system. I have only been using Linux for about a year and am learning something new every day. That's why I like it!!!

Well that's too bad because their software selection just doesn't cut it for me. I like it though. I'm running the new one in VMPlayer(and TinyMe). For most people it certainly is enough.
