I want to ask a question about Ultimate Edition 2.1. I'm a too new user on linux i have to say. So i just build my new pc and i'm having a little problem. I installed n ASUS EN9600GT Graphic Card and i installed the x86 version. The system worked fine when the installation completed but when i tried to activate the "locked" drivers for the card i messed up everything. It gives me a msg that i haven't installed the power supply cables on the card and it gives my the old and nice Black&White screen to play around. It gave me two set of drivers to activate so the first time i activated the recommended ones but nothing. The second time i activated the other set but it got me the same result. I'm sure that the power cables are perfectly installed cause i checked a lot of times before i even plug the machine. So can any one help with this one?

And something more i have mistakenly installed the x86 version and i had a x64 CPU. I'm downloading the x64 version now. Do you think that this might be the problem?

No. Your processor is capable of running 32 bit or 64 bit. I personally recommend 64 bit, but that is just my preference. Try them both out. See which one you like better.
When you get the 64 bit installed go to harware drivers and install the recommended one first. Then if that doesn't work uninstall from Synaptic Package Manager and try another one.

I have tried installing 2.1-x86 on a older system, Mboard Asus A7N8X-E, with a xp 2800 Barton cpu, Elsa Gloria II-Pro AGP, 2 gigs corsair ddr, pioneer dvd-burner, samsung dvd-burner, and for what reason I can't figure out what's up. I have installed 2.1 over three times, and when the install window comes up, I put a user name and password in the boxes, and after the install is done, re-boot, Welcome screen comes up, I put my user name and pw, and it says through the audio, Acess Denied. What can I do about this?
Sorry if I posted in wrong place.
Thanks for the help!

It looks like it doesn't like your gpu. Try this and see what happens. Just ignore the part about putting a disc in.

Go back a re-read the instructions, especially the part about not having much time(have your finger ready on the Esc key). All you are doing is adding VGA=pick a number to the end(which will load the vesa driver) of the boot kernel you do not want to go past there until you have added that.
It tells you on the screen what to do(e is edit etc.). I don't think I can explain it any simpler.
