What I have been saying is these .10's seem to run much smoother and less of a bear to assemble!!! Of course all this is one person's opinion that to me, am feeling the opposite of what you are saying! Am not going to push the .04's aside, will look at them, but just feel more comfortable with these.10's. Possibly, I am insane but it just works better for me. We all have things that work better for us and I suppose this is why so many OS's exist along with programs!!! When time permits, will take another look at that 14.04 image I have. You know, thing wants to update and would be over a gig, so was reluctant to do that!!!! Old thing of having to watch the cash here!!! So I figured, this 13.10 I have is running tip top and have not assembled one this great before now! Am running really sweet, but I do have mechanical problems of a power supply going out!

So, I suppose that is also adding to my reluctance to work on that 14.04! I really do not see this computer making it to 16.04 by no means! This is the first one that has ever made it 5 years for me! Probably if I had this thing replaced would build every version when it is available! I simply want to keep learning and improving! Last OS(13.04) would not switch the gtk-2.0's for nothing! This one switches everything when I need it to, so yes built a high regard for it! When I built that 12.10 was also more forgiving than 12.04 was too me! 12.04 was not good with my built in graphics, but 12.10 aced it! Hence, this is where my theory formed of .10 being the finished deal!

Next, think about it, is spring time when the .04's are done, right???? Been couped up in the house for months with the cold, and nice days are coming, so you think these developers want to stay in and keep working???? Now in the fall, is going to be cold out and what else is there to do than keep working away at these builds??? So is another reason formed my theory! Who knows all could be mush and rants of a fool, but am just seeing these .10's as a good one to stick with and the .04's to learn what is coming and be prepared for the .10's!

Also still very happy I found the problems with those themes!!!! Figured it had to be me, since everything really works great on here! As have said, no crashes just keeps running, hit shutdown goes to it and off in a flash! I could not believe I ran it all night a few times, got up the next day and everything performed like it was freshly started!!! Maybe is just me improving at assembly, but still just added to my belief!

I quit working on CyanLXDE and let it go the way it is! Here's the link to it: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ ... ent=165189 Basically, with the disrespect I am getting with the ratings, users and Gnome-look is just not worth the aggravation of working super hard on things! Is apparent the way to go is to look like Windows XP or just like trash! People want something like my themes, make them yourself! Am just beat! If someone wants to take time and read how ignorant some people were with their comments towards me are all there on Gnome-look! I never made any money off any of this, was all of my heart and free time! My heart is now broken and free time is no longer there for those that broke it! Will also say, this is the very first theme I created that hit 139 downloads in 3 days! Of course, is also the lowest rated at 44%

Is not just because of this poor rating, but is a combination of things! I went to sign in and compliment another theme creator on a theme. I then find out, I was locked out! I sent Gnome-look and email in a very polite manner and this is how it read:

Am wondering why my account is locked. I like
uploading themes when I complete them and making
comments for those I think are very artistic.
Please let me know if I have done something to
offend someone or what? I never mean to and only
want to create nice works for gnome-look.

To that the response was:

Hi,

your account got locked because a lot of your uploads and comments are down voted by other users.
I unlocked it again.

To that I say "HMM, now down voting, isn't that something that happens to many users on there?" Anyway enough is enough, that part was way too disrespectful! I can take low ratings, but to be told the above and being "locked out" for the day, just told me, they do not want my work there anymore! That was also the reason I rushed CyanaLXDE and uploaded it! I figured least will help someone else learn what I did and they can improve it to their own usage and help others! They win, I will not publish my work there again!!! All are welcome to examine, fix and work on it to make it more appealing to them. Of course if you mangle it into looking like Windows XP or some other junk theme, please do not let me see it! I beg it as this was meant as a work of art, not some sick joke like many themes I see on Gnome-look! After all, why do you think I started making them???? Themes on there are hideous! Usually only two authors on there I really like and that is TheeMahn and Hello Kitty! Another person Jerry is also very original and is trying his best! He is also downvoted and works hard as the rest of us!!!! Like his work also, just terrible at remembering the exact name he uses!!! I would not be upset about all this if I spent 10 minutes on the theme as most others do! Am sure some will see my point, when I have been cut down, rated poorly and abused by lame theme creators! Now if TheeMahn or Hello Kitty commented would be more professional and correct criticism, not something like "I hate the coloring you used!" Stuff like that is worthy of a fool! Not someone that claims they create themes!!!!!

Sure maybe at points I was harsh when I had my descriptions, but when you are spammed, hassled, haggled and ugly comments as above are written, you tend to get upset!!! I was not looking for people to bow down to me, just show a little respect. Respect can be shown by not saying stupid things and only commenting about things not functioning correctly! No one ever told me I did something wrong! Only stupid crap like "You should change the fonts when you take pictures of your themes!" Sure, maybe I should also part my hair on the left side and only wear suits and ties too, right???? Then "I think you should not have that heavy of a gradient!" These are opinions and I could do that for every theme ever created!!!! I do not though, as I respect other people's works even if I do not like them! An artist's vision is his own and should never be manipulated by someone's criticism of that vision!!! I respect the fact they made it available for all users to
download! I hoped people would respect that fact, that I made it available for them!

I showed my work to some people on the street off my laptop and they were completely impressed and gave me very respectable comments! Now that is deeply appreciated as also what you have told me and showed how you use my themes!!! Take a good look at CyanaLXDE is the first of a kind in many points! No one has ever dressed up Nemo so well or used two different text colors on file managers! End result was supposed to be three, but as said became very upset and quit this project! I was also looking for a way to dump all pngs in the theme(metacity) and leave the entire theme by script only! Was not changed or researched to do so! All other themes have been abandoned til I have more time! Nautilus was left as is unchanged! Was supposed to have the same effect as Nemo! Oh well, probably if I would have had everything perfect would have rated at 34%!!! Seems the better I got at this the lower the rating! Thought would move up! Guess as I said before, "Should have made crappy looking themes that looked like everyone else's!!!" Just thought the difference would be sweet, but was just not respected! Maybe when I am dead a buried willl be, but not right now!!!!
