Weather (Not a support issue)

Postby S3KshuN8 » Mon Mar 31, 2014 8:13 pm

One of the things I missed about the dreaded Win7 was the weather gadget. I just found its counterpart in the date and time preferences near the top right corner of the screen. Setup was a piece of cake, and it's even better than the M$ gadget! :D

I am one happy camper right now. <BREW>

EDIT

Sorry for posting in the wrong section. I thought it might be helpful to others so posted it in Help and Support but I see that it was moved here.

EDIT

For clarification, step-by-step instructions are as follows:

1. Right-click the date and time near the top right corner of the screen and choose "Preferences"
2. On the "General" tab, make sure "Show weather" and "Show temperature" are checked.
3. Click the "Weather" tab and choose your preferred units for temperature and wind speed.
4. Click the "Locations" tab and then click "Add"
5. Type in your city (or nearest city) and it will fetch latitude/longitude for you.
6. Close "Clock Preferences", you are done! :D
