Pipelight, Silverlight5.1 the way to have it set for 13.10

Well, maybe all my complaining made something happen! A month ago I had a rant about not installing Pipelight into a build of 13.10. I was then messing with 14.04(beta) and noticed a change to it. Ubuntu made it so you can install Silverlight5.1 into the 14.04 build. Now that has just come down to 13.10!

Someone may want to move this to How To's as it may be very relevant to those that want to build their OS and have it set with Silverlight integration. First, should hardly mention this, but remember does count on having Wine installed also. Remember to install adobe-flashplugin and not flashplugin-installer, takes way to long and might even mess up! Been there before on 13.04 and very thankful 13.10 has remedied by having adobe-flashplugin available for install. Next, and the real important part is you need to add these following repos: ppa:ehoover/compholio and ppa:pipelight/stable. Remember, this was all tested and installed and now stands as my final build of 13.10(Ravenswood)

Remember to apt-get update then have to install pipelight-multi, wine-browser-installer, wine-compholio, wine-mpg2splt-installer, and wine-silverlight5.1-installer. Once all that is installed enter: sudo pipelight-plugin --enable silverlight will ask you if you accept of course just type y and boom, all complete!

This afternoon, I watched this final build install with ease and no hassle of doing the searches since all is there. The moment you open up the browser you will have to wait for wine to configure and do its 3 small windows of installs which goes by fairly quick. On the laptop which is slow took 5 minutes. Remember is dual core and is also a 3g connection so others may not even notice those windows when using a faster connection speed!

Is important you install all the pieces or you wind up with a severe hang when you open up any browser. So please follow these directions so will work correctly! Took me time to get this all figured and the right pieces available! Real nice as once this is done, 5 minutes later and can just get right up on Jet or whatever other Silverlight5.1 site you have to use!
