Cinnamon 2.0 gains independence!

Sure some do not really care for the Cinnamon desktop, me so so, but this is impressive! Cinnamon has broken the embylical cord that once latched them to Gnome! Of course in a way is a drag cause now, since for your window manager theme will have to be done. No more association with Gnome Tweak, so there goes the desktop icons and everything! Still what comes with it is no more interference with Gnome so is a plus! Now if we can just see Mate cross that bridge, that would be sweet! Least last time I checked, it would just uninstall the entire Gnome desktop to install. Is just not an option for someone like me that enjoys all of the desktops. As have said, I may not spend an entire day or days on them, but I still do check them out and enjoy them! So least now Cinnamon has once again been added to my collection of desktops on my 13.04 Ubuntu! Am liking this day very much as has been a break from this nightmarish past week! All those issues solved, now am waiting in the wings for this position to start! Such fun life is! Will give me a bit of time to explore what is needed to make that desktop accept the regular metacity I am used to along with folder looks. Have not plainly tried slipping a copy of BB3 in there, so will give that a try also! Curious about what others think about Cinnamon's new found Independence????

You know I had to get that generic look of Adwaita out of there! See there is no tweak integration so anyone that wants to change to a new theme and not suffer with the stock looks pay attention to this pic at the bottom. Also be advised the only icons usable at this time are the stock types, Foxtrot, Gnome, etc. Next, not great integration with compiz as to be able to have my regular OSX stoplights in the right corner. Next any theme name that is not named Adwaita or Ambiance is not accepted! Tried a few and does not work. Still as you can see from this picture below, I simply renamed Black Beauty III to contain Adwaita in front. Cursor themes are being accepted. So far this is much as I was able to figure out about it. Just hope it helps someone that may be curious as to how this Independent Cinnamon 2.0 differs from previous that were attached to Gnome.Theme will respond as normal to have your programs colored. So remember you will have to change themes by dconf. Pictured below will depict this.
