I just want to find out one thing as you seem brilliant Brahim! Were you able to get Cinnamon to function correctly in Ultimate???? It just seems soon as Cinnamon is surrounded by other desktops it gives hassles! I have seen this in my own version of Ubuntu as switching from Cinnamon to Gnome Classic at points does not come up correctly with file manager. To me it seems Cinnamon needs to be adjusted with sizes to work correctly with others! If you have any insight am very deeply interested in it!!!! Personally I was never able to get Cinnamon to work on boot in 3.5 or logging out to it, without issuing Cinnamon --replace So will greatly appreciate some insight am sure others will too!!!! Love the looks and will want to try it when I get a chance!!! Even though I usually just use Gnome Classic, I still like to change to Cinnamon once in a while. KDE tools are also the desired ones, just not as much with the desktop. I have a hard time finding things in KDE, so is why I stick with GC! Same goes for Cinnamon. If I do not have work to do, will use it! That is why is not used so much!!! Anyway is great to have someone here with your talent and ideas!!! Love keeping an open mind to things and trying different things!!!! :D

I think the problem is with Unity being intrusive with other desktops and not with Cinnamon:D Anyway I made it work for me on Ultimate Edition 3.5 by deleting /.config but that removes all your settings :D

Not at all. Cinnamon NEEDS other deskstop components, not the other way around. So does Unity, but Unity will not work right sometimes, Cinnamon just falls apart. So how well did deleting .config work with all the other desktops? Mainly I figured you just had to make sure Cinnamon ran under it's own window manager. That's all "cinnamon --replace" is.

I stand by my original statement. Let's keep muffins out of Ultimate Edition. Take whatever from Mate but just let Mint die. Forget about Cinnamon. When I installed Cinnamon....on Mint, it gave me Unity...calls it..Ubuntu. Wassupwitdat?

Mint Unity. Just what I never wanted.

I must say though, Brahim, that your wallpaper does make it look really good.
