Thank You Linux Gods

Having used Linux now for only 3 years,Starting with a custom Linux installed on my then new Asus EEEpc 4 gig,I have come to and now admire and praise Linux for doing and making Windows look old, slow and dated.Last year as I was reading the Distro Watch page,I was struck with U.E.and after reading more about it downloaded and ran a Live disk to play with.At that time I was running a duel boot Win/Ubuntu 8.10 system on all 3 of my computers and very happy. But the Ultimate Edition gods of wisdom have and are currently the ones of my worship now.U.E has supplied me with so much more eye candy, programs, speed, and usage of my computers that I rarely use the Windows side of my duel boot systems and only use them now for my Slingbox program as it is.Can't get the Slingbox Linux to run right in U.E.maybe someday I'll get to run.Till then it's U.E for me and my systems and to heck with any others that try to change my religion.
THANK YOU U.E.GODS

Ahhh2o,
Welcome to the Ultimate Edition fold! :D
Acolytes and Converts are praised and welcome here! Come into the light..... ;)

We are really pleased to hear you sing praises for Ultimate Edition and it's creator - TheeMahn - and followers.

Why not let us know more about your and your systems and their configurations, by creating a Signature that will appear below all your posts. This is actually very helpful when asking for support or assistance, as it lets us see what hardware you are working with. This can effect some support issues as they can sometimes be specific to the hardware you are running on. You can create a signature through the User Control Panel link on the top left of the Forum pages.

Again, Welcome to Ultimate Edition! 8-)

<BREW> Sorry it tolk so long to responde! Like you I found Ultimate Edition and have not looked back, And also like you, I to made the mistake of inserting "GOD" in one of my initial posts! Got my ass reamed for it ! None the less, once you find something that is, "in and of it self" a gift that you feel is worthy of a, "Maker" ; then so be it !, you and I have at least one thing in comon !, If and when "Thee" 8-) reads this he will more than likly let you know that he is no "God" and is but a dude man, just like you and me! <BREW> (He just does this kind'a thing better than most !) (but we wont let him know that!- It might go to his head! :o  :? ) Great luck to you!! <BREW> and Happy Holidaze! <BREW>
