Hi saiyuki,
The beauty with Linux/Ubuntu/Ultimate Edition/KDE/Gnome is that you can make it look any which way you want. The problem is that everyone has their own personal view of what the perfect desktop looks like, so no matter what Themahn creates with regard to the look of Ultimate Edition, someone will find that its not quite their cup of tea. My suggestion would be to start playing with it and learn how to change things to the way you want - its not that hard and can be fun. Look at websites like http://www.kde-look.org/ for a bit of inspiration.
