Hey pch.shot, your first picture is from my country? ;)
Remember just this is the way the capitalists want to keep it.In few more decades Romania will become just like a south-american bananier country. No offense, but from my personal experience,in socialism you weren't seeing such huge difference and contrasts between social classes, believe me.

'Hey pch.shot, your first picture is from my country?'
What is the richest country in the world?
The Soviet's(Stalin's) idea of socialism was twisted(not what Lenin had envisioned at all). The only true democracy that ever existed was ancient Athens. Since then it has been misinterpreted and misused.
In the 21st century there is no reason why there should be starving people in the world. It is just ignorance and self importance that has triggered it.

The bit about gun control is very real.its happened in Canada, and the government is following their guidelines. This a big issue on a hunting forum im part of.If they go as far as taking out the 2amendment,all hell will brake loose.(in my life time or not)I keep telling my little girl she could become president........I wonder if I really want her too.

But then again take everything you see or hear on the net ,tv,ect......with a grain...

'The bit about gun control is very real.its happened in Canada'
We had to. A few punks were spoiling it for everybody. The sad part is a lot of them had been deported and their asshole relatives kept letting them back in. The one thing about living here is that if you do something heinous the R.C.M.P. will track you down no matter where you go in the world(We are one of the most policed countries in the world-that's why it's so safe here). There is no escape. If the R.C.M.P. doesn't get you the special forces will. They caught a guy a few years ago in Florida who murdered two teenage sisters in Toronto. He thought he was safe and bingo two weeks later they had him back up here for trial. When somebody does something wrong people get really pissed off and do something about it.

The hand gun situation in the U.S. it out of control. I'm not sure anything can be done at this point. You can go to a corner store in the south and buy a handgun with very little trouble. That's how most of the illegal handguns get into Canada. If you make handguns illegal in th States only th army, police and criminals will have them. You will have some scumbag breaking into your house and harming your wife and kids. I don't see any solution. Educating people and providing uniform school standards are a start(one of Obama's ideas) but it will take a few generations for it to have any effect. Erasing poverty and improving health care will also help. If people have food and are healthy(mentally and physically) they are less likely to steal or kill. Getting rid of the financial class structure with less emphasis on money(monitor advertisements that glorify being rich over being a decent human being). There, that should fix everything in a couple of weeks!!!!!

kinda old but makes another point.

In reality this topic on gun control could go on,and on.
The police are "with" the control of guns which they should be.but if you look at the new proposed laws not all of them apply to the police force, which they should be.I wouldn't mind paying a tax on bullets,if the tax paid for conservation, and gun education. But to limit a gun owner on how much bullets one can buy at a time is stupid. If you ever go to a shooting range, then you will know this. You can shoot your "monthly bought limit" in a matter of a couple of hours.

and how did the bakers get control?
