AMD apu and compiz

Postby dannyraymilligan » Thu Nov 22, 2012 2:10 pm

For the first time in all the years I've been using Ultimate Edition, Compiz will not work. I try to enable desktop effects, and it will not start. I try checking drivers, and it says there are no proprietary drivers for this system. I just bought this pc a few weeks ago, and it's an Acer Aspire quad-core with the A6 apu (graphics and cpu are together )
Is it just that there are no drivers available to support the AMD APU system? Or am I just doing something wrong???

Thanks, folks! I haven't been back to check in awhile because I've been playing around with multiple OS installs, and trying to figure out what I can get to work, but I'll look into your links!
