CCSM not displaying...

I have searched and searched but, don't see this question asked anywhere - why does CCSM not show itself when I right-click and opt to open it?
I have tried reinstalling and there are no errors shown. It appears in the Preferences menu and in the pull-down menu under the Compiz Fusion icon on the top panel.
No matter what I try, the settings manager won't display.

BW - here is what I get when issuing ccsm in Terminal;

*** :~$ ccsm

(process:5160): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
Info: No sexy-python package found, don't worry it's optional.

I am changing the system language as I type.

Nope - was surely on the wrong track with that. It has changed nothing making sure that my system language is set to English UK.
It's funny, when I did that in system settings (which throws up an ugly KDE version) the dollar signs for the currency remain as demo text yet typing the characters off the keyboard definitely show UK pound sign, hash and ampersand on the correct keys and all that. So what's this incorrect locale that is being displayed?
Any ideas?

Ta,

Need to get this Locale thing sorted. I tried to convert the mythtv tar to deb today and got:

"(process:32279): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library. Using the fallback 'C' locale."

I see someone had a similar problem using OS X and changed the path to a file.
Could this be a similar problem here?
Is Ultimate Edition not finding the file/s because of some installation error or corrupt file maybe.
I am on the verge of reinstalling the system but, will give the conversion of the .tar to .deb a go on one of my other systems first and report back...
This old Sony laptop runs the system well apart from this niggly problem with the locale just now.

Nothing is working with the code. I believe I have a corrupt file somewhere and am going to reinstall the system. If I still have a problem, I'll let you know.
In fact I'll let you know either way.

Plus, you don't have a Scotland flag. You can grab one off my profile :D

It's okay now. Must have been a glitch... maybe the volcano from Kiwiland is swamping the signals... not funny for them though.

I'll hop over now and do the flag bit. <BREW>

Simple.. don't run any updates after downloading AND installing Ultimate Edition 2.9.
For some reason Compiz package changes and the CCSM simply doesn't work.
Ultimate Edition 2.9 works perfectly well without any updates.
Have a nice day. :D
