White Screen
Posted: Sun Jul 12, 2009 11:43 amI just installed Ultimate Edition 2.2 and when I install restricted drives and enable compiz plug'ins the screen turns white..... why is that?

Posted: Sun Jul 12, 2009 2:16 pmI had similar problems in elive e17 compiz and it was an incompatibility between video driver and the new kernel.In the end I found that I have to add in the /etc/X11/Xorg.conf,in the "Screen" section the option "DefaultDepth 24" and in the "Device" section the option "AddARGBGLXVisuals true".Exit.Reboot.
I don't know if it's working in Ubuntu too.

Hello jnalli. Sometimes a simple removal & reinstalling of Compiz tens to fix most, if not all problems/errors.
