Hey fellas, I have 2 question to ask about 2 particular plug-ins
1) wobbly windows, since Ultimate Edition 1.7 and up I cannot do this (see screenshot), well in general the plug-in works just fine, but this one issue, I've tried to reinstall compiz-fusion and this plug-in too didn't work :( , may be it is kinda GTK+ engine issue?

2) water effect, since Ultimate Edition 1.8 and up I cannot do the title wave when dragging & dropping windows (see screenshot), here tried to do the same technique as I did with wobbly windows, did not work :(

Post please if someone knows anything about this, any ideas are appreciated as well, thanks in advance.

Yap, I played long enough with settings, no result :( Thanks.

in the very first versions I used of beryl and or compiz the wobby window worked for me, when I wanted just to "peep" what's behind a big window (maximized) I just held ALT and dragged the window corner with the mouse, today the default action is the window get "un-snapped" and it drives me crazy too!
perhaps we need to de-activate or reconfigure the snapping windows plugin?

strider5236 wrote:That is strange cause the wobbly window pluggin has always worked for me. I have to resolve some pluggin conflicts to get it enabled, but it has always worked. It is one of the pluggins that I use every time I set up compiz. The same goes with the water pluggin. Are you using an old config file or something? Do you have the extra pluggins installed?

I even tried to disable all the plug-ins and left only wobbly on, it works fine but I cannot play with windows while it is maximized, water is fine as well just the title wave doesn't work. Extra plug-ins, hell yeah, a lot of them, wanna release new video and show THEM ALL!!! Just need some time to settle with my new job... <BREW>

No no no, I do know that wobbly doesn't work when maximized, just look at screenshot I posted before, you'll see what I mean <BREW>

Hooray! Wobbly issue is solved! Gonna post the code for patching it later, just wanna try a few more times! And yes, it was GTK+ engine issue which effects Emerald themes too (I am trying to solve that as well). Water effect is still a question, patched a few times and no result, YET...

Hey yitzikv,

I was wondering if you, (or anyone else) have ever heard of a Compiz plugin called Stackswitch? I have seen a video of it:

http://fusioncast.blogspot.com/2008/06/ ... witch.html

But I can't find how to install it. Also maybe a quick howto on installing from git would be nice. (I'm just being lazy here :D )

Love the vids
