LOL no offense taken mahn i'm just goofin off...i've honestly not been this excited about a OS...ever. i'm really lookin forward to it and just learning everything i can about it and linux. (19 hrs and 15 mins)

once this puppy goes live, we need some seeders set up. Baphomet handled the last release pretty well

so as soon as the torrent goes up Puhhlease help seed. thank you all for for your support in helping to make this the greatest OS

OBTW anybody interested in helping spread the love? We got excellent perks: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1933&start=60

I concur and have began write the page for it currently unlinked:

Ultimate Edition 2.0 is built based off Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex (daily build), by hand, it is w/o a doubt gorgeous.  I am releasing a 32 bit, 64 Bit & and a Gamers edition (x86 based).  Ultimate Edition 2.0 is loaded to the hilt with themes, wallpapers, icon sets, gdm login screens, and Usplashes.  If you have a 64 bit processor I highly recommend the 64 bit edition (currently the only one available).  I have purchased a second mirror just for this release the only thing on that mirror is this release on unlimited bandwidth, we also have 5 new mirrors inbound.  Just because of the added bandwidth available it is still important that it is to torrent this release.

Ccal is the bomb when it comes to torrent he is hard to reach he does do many other things when it comes to torrent. excuse the html

I will finish the page tomorrow, will probably leave it unlinked for a day or 2 to allow forum users full speed down from main & mirror. Hopefully by the time I set the page active we have active mirrors.

Can't wait - but am happy 2.0 is almost here for us - Theemahn again thanks for your work.

I have noticed that my wireless card responds to the ath5 driver in suse 11.1 and mandriva '09. Does anyone know if my Atheros 5007EG wireless will work out of the box. The rest of ultimate makes it worth going through the exercise of getting the card working otherwise, but it would be sweet if it worked out of the box. It didn't with ubnutu 8.10

So far as out of the box....
I am currently testing this out now, using a belkin f5d8071 model Atheros chipset Pcmcia(express) card. this is the skinny one. that goes on the a/b/g/n bands. I have been pounding at this card since Ubuntu 7.10.

What I can ell you so far, is that
in the new kernel I have gotten some intermittent activity and at times stay connected but my router drops the card. My router is also a belkin N1 draft so the hardware matches
this is without applying of any tweaks in my repertoire

on another note, if you have an internal wireless card thats an intel chipset (most are) you will notice page loads are a tiny bit faster.
