Posted: Tue Mar 20, 2012 3:30 amI've been trying Ultimate Edition 2.8 & 3.0 on my Dell Vostro 1000. It has an AMD Sempron 2.0 GHz cpu and 2GB max ram so Ultimate Edition runs a little slowly but it has a NIC card so old the manufacturers just barely remember it. It's a Broadcom 440 and the drivers can be found at the very bottom of the Broadcom site support page and I cannot get this driver working. If any one has any ideas about this I would appreciate any advice but meanwhile I am trying to download Ultimate Edition 2.4 or 2.6 which I hope will run a little faster And have the legacy NIC drivers this machine needs.

Posted: Wed Mar 21, 2012 6:03 amBeen looking. Softpedia downloads take about 5 days and there are no torrents < v3.0 still alive out there. Might have to order a disk and actually pay ..
