where do i check/ tick the "internet" setting in the repositories under system/ admin/ synaptic? thanks

: hit the "settings" tab then select preferences

no, there is a tickbox to tick then there is a huge amount of files that will be downloaded. cant seem to find it in synaptic. thanks

no t not that 1 too.i have these checked already. Daddy 3x gives this advice to all, i have read it somewhere but cant recall. sorry

If you click on DaddyX3, then go to his profile, and select read his posts, you might be able to track down the thread you are referring to :oops:
