Postby Nattefrost » Tue Oct 21, 2008 9:16 pm

Hello. I don't know if i'm posting in the right place but im new with linux and i have a small problem. Here it goes.
I have already installed linux v 1.9 ultimate edition on my pc and i also have windows XP. The problem is that on the boot screen where i choose the operating system my bluetooth coordless keyboard doesn't work. It's a LOGITECH MX3200 Cordless Keyboard if that helps. Any ideas how i can fix it???

Sad to say you're not the only one to have problems with this setup in Linux.
Also sadly enough, since you are having issues at the bootloader,
(I presume it's Grub, yes? If not try using Grub and see if this fixes it for you)
Any fix you find will be in modifying the bootloader, since it hasn't loaded any drivers yet.
Your chances of finding a fix are pretty slim, for this reason it's prolly best to either get a different keyboard, or do away with the M$ partition and load it virtually under Linux.
The good news is... unless you use Windows for gaming, your problem will most likely be solved in the next 6 months to a year, when you will find you have no use for Windows and wipe it off your system.
I know this sounds like The standard Linux Line but it happens more times than not.
