I just don't understand why do you write english words in hebrew fonetics instead of using the hebrew translation of it, for example:
error=ארור which at first sounded me like "arur"="damn", you can use simply "שגיאה"
log in=לוג אין instead of כניסה
Just a though.

Podrias dar mas detalles acerca de tu modem? que modelo exacto, cuales son los metodos que has probado y te malograron el sistema?

My usb modem is a Huawei E156.
I tried with the gnomeppp, and the wdial methods, but everytime a different error apeared on the console. I used to post this errors at ubuntuforum, and nobody knew what to do. I guess most of them are noobs like me, or just didn´t wanted do help. Some people posted `try this` and `try that` sort of things, but anyway, i just couldn´t make it work, and i was just making unknown things that wasn´t helping at all.
Well, i downloaded and installed Ultimate Edition, and it worked fine as expected. And surprise, i just plugged in the usb modem, and put the `dmesg` command at the console, and amongst all that lines, i saw that it recognized my modem, because appeared his name there. I´m at windows right now, so i´ll have to go to Ultimate Edition, and copy that response and put here, because i don´t remember right now. At least, i know i´m closer to make it work.
But only with the dmesg command. When i plug the usb device, it´s not auto recognized, like a CD or a Pen drive. No icon appears at the desktop.
But thakns for the response, soon i´ll post here the dmesg response.

Puede probar un programa llamado Unetbootin, si tiene un pendrive que es de al menos un 1gig. Se instala el instalador en vivo el pendrive para que pueda arrancar e instalar desde el pendrive en lugar de la unidad de DVD. También puede comprobar para ver si el 8,10 que ha descargado tiene una buena suma de verificación MD5, y que el DVD / CD fue incendiada mediante una lenta velocidad de grabación.

You can try a program called Unetbootin, if you have a pendrive that is at least one 1gig. It will install the Live Installer on the pendrive so you can boot and install from the pendrive rather then the DVD drive. You can also check to see if the 8.10 you downloaded has a good MD5 check sum and that the DVD/CD was burned using a slow burn speed.

Sorry, i don´t know how to do it! And what´s DHCP?
Again, i´m still green at linux, so forgive me the noobish questions...

But as promised, i´m posting what the `dmesg`command shows:
It seems to detect a huawei modem, but there´s any volume mounted at the desktop.
It doesn´t show even in the file manager. My modem is a huawei E156. Works fine in windows, but i just need the modem working on Ultimate Edition to finally get rid of my windows...

Mss já vi esse link, e não me ajuda, por que é específico para o 8.10, e meu Ultimate Edition é o 1.9 baseado no 8.04, o unico que instala no meu pc. Busquei o Ultimate Edition exatamente por que tem mais recursos e que o aproximam mais do 8.10, mas ainda nao consigo configurar. Os itens que constam nesse link, como configurar VPN e escolher operadora simplesmente nao estao disponiveis no Ultimate Edition 1.9.
Mas obrigado mesmo assim!
