I going to go out on a limb and guess that when it says "unable to load kernel, please choose an appropriate kernel for your cpu" that means I don't have a 64 bit system. Should've tried it earlier then try to get a straight answer from intel about their product. Thanks for the help fellas. I'm going back to lurking and patiently waiting for the 32 bit release.

I would use that as an excuse to get a 64 bit computer...not implying yours or anyone else's 32 bit is no good , if you follow my jest... ;)
