Help & support for Ultimate Edition 1.8

That seems to have worked.
Thanks.

Now I'm looking at the install screen and going for a manual install because I don't want to dump this semi-operable Ultimate yet, nor do I wish to dump Windows yet. So my new partition will be 38,576mb and I think the file type is Ext3 Journaling file system. The other choices...: beginning or end : then Mount Point....I'm a little fuzzy on. Not sure what Beginning and End refer to in this context. And mount point...Should it just be a slash "/"?

Thanks again....

You might want to go by the How To section and read a little on your different choices for install method. Just a bit of advise. More than likely you'll love your new OS and will wonder why you didn't do it a different way. Have a look HERE. It is an out-dated how-to, but will get you dialed in on the process.

Actually now that I know how to download a torrent file and where to find it when it's done, I'm going to try and install Ultimate 1.9. If I'm doing a fresh install anyway, there's no reason to install the same thing I already have. If I can go 1 better I might as well do so.
I'll look through the How To section in more detail before I do anything.

Thanks Daddyx3
