You're saying he makes no changes, but if that were the case the versions would be identical. The one distributed on the ultimate repo has a different version which would indicate a change to the software (Not necessarily true). If there really is no change and the application packaged in each version is identical then that's cool. I can live with that, I can get the source from the version that he's repacking. If that's not the case then I would like to build my package on the foundation already set forth by TheeMan. That way if a user uses my package they don't lose functionality that I may have over looked. I am to only add functionality to the already existing package. Also since it's being distributed in binary format and the license that software is developed under is GPL the source should be available, period.
