I currently have a creative sound blaster X-Fi Fatality Pro. I got the driver but the install just keeps failing, on 64 bit and 32 bit builds.
Don't take donations well I guess that is cool with me save me money
How are you trying to install it (.bin file, compiled source, or what?; with GUI or Terminal?) .. and would that be XtremeGamers or Titanium ?? ...just in case the drivers are somehow different

I got this driver from creative XFiDrv_Linux_US-1.18.tar.bz2 and followed the instructions but the driver always fails to install. I just tried all of the opensound drivers those also fail. Maybe I am doomed to no sound
I haven't really honestly tried to fix it but when I get some time I need to get it added.
Thanks

The drivers are still unstable, there have been reports of crashing X, ALSA, and locking up the whole computer. Using these drivers is like waving a red flag at a bull.....
