Hey SaddleTramp, yes i have comiz-fusion icon installed but does it have to be open? Also how do I make comiz-fusion icon run automatically when i turn my computer on? To answer your other question, I remember selecting custom in some compiz-fusion menu, maybe Compiz simple settings? Anyway thanks, taz

SaddleTramp, yes I have tried when compiz fusion icon is on and it still doesn't work. Also I have tried to enable extra as you suggested but when I do, window borders disappear. My graphics card is good enough, a 8600 GT.
Thanks, Taz

When your borders disappear just hit ' CNTRL+ALT+Backspace' and then enter
Code: Select all
compiz --replace

That should bring'em back for ya. I've recently ran into a problem (which has now 'fixed itself' where they were disappearing and had to issue this command).
