Thank you for the Welcome! Besides the trouble I am having, I am absolutely loving this Ultimate Edition.
now lets get to answering those questions..
Exactly how are you installing??I have XP on the first drive, and then load Ubuntu on the 2nd drive.
When installing Ultimate Edition and you get to the partition step, are you selecting auto, guided, manual or what?? I was using guided:entire drive.
System specs i have added to my signature for ease.

ok, so for an update, DaddyX3, thank you for the link to th Super Grub Disk, that at least allows me to boot into Windows directly from the cd i made from it. and when i tell it to fix my windows boot, it does but then the ability to lad linux goes bye bye...so then i tell it to fix grub and back to where to where I started lol. So it seems i can have one or the other but not the best of both worlds unless i boot from the grub cd. I hope this is enough information now, I do try to Aim to please =)
